Vocal Trace
Interactive installation and catalog project in collaboration with Arthur Brun. Code that interprets the voice’s frequency curves into two curves: one composed of points on an amplitude grid, and the other connecting these points based on their distance from one another. The curves create visual forms without any control by the person lending their voice (at least consciously, since they are actually based on the user’s unique frequencies). Each curve created is captured and stored locally, which allowed us to compile a 200-page catalog (photos of the bookplate only; 40 pages featuring 96 curves). Coded with Processing. [bookplate: 180×270 mm]
